We have a usb and a midi output. We've only connected with the usb device cable and the keyboard is not recognized. We found a store with a midi interface, but hesitate to spend the money if it is not likely that will solve the problem. Mac is not listed as one of the drivers on our Casiso CD listing of downloads so we think using a Casio with a Mac may be a no-go.
Our Casio manual only references outputting to a 'computer'. We're still holding out some hope.
If you have a midi cable and try it, we will be interested in the results.
good luck.

Casio Cdp 100 Midi Driver For Mac Download
Hi, I recently bought a CDP-120 to use as my MIDI controller with my computer iMac OS 10.9.1. I am unable to get my software - Finale 2011 - to respond to the keyboard. The Audio MIDI Setup does register the keyborad, the icon is there and the test shows that the iMac recieves the signal. The problem is with FInale. About Christmas time last year I purchased a Casio Privia digital piano. I wanted to use this as a midi controller on my MBP. It wasnt until a few months later when i returned from college and finally had a chance to sit down with this instrument that i realized that the USB-midi connection was not compatible with mac.
