I can't find god of war 1 ps2 rom it's removed from emuparadise and coolrom is just a virus fest, does anyone have a download link for gow (and gow2 if possible) 10 comments. Rendering this game in high resolutions such as 4k, while beautiful, is quite demanding for your hardware and there is often a massive hit in performance. However, since most of the workload for PCSX4 is on the GPU and CPU usage is low, there is a lot of untapped performance just waiting to be used. We’re happy to report that anyone with a dedicated graphics card that has Vulkan support can expect decent performance at 4k.

High-resolution UltraHD support for GOW (2018) wasn’t the only thing that is added in this release! Another reason for such a massive gain in visual quality has full 16x Anti Aliasing support. It drastically improves how textures render, especially when viewed closely. Check out the below screenshot as an example of the default AA vs. forced 16x. The difference is hugely noticeable on the Kratos’s Axe.

In our test bench, we ran this game on a GTX1070 and got constant 55-60 fps at 1080p resolution when it is capped at 60fps and v-sync turned on. If you have a gaming monitor which supports high refresh rates then you can boost those frame rates beyond 100fps by turning off the frame limiter and reducing the visual quality.
